Terms of Service

Minicut is operated by Arkzero, Inc., a corporation incorporated in Delaware, United States. You can reach us at team@arkzero.ai. These documents are governed by Delaware law, and any dispute that reaches a court is heard in Delaware, unless a law that protects you says otherwise.

Minicut is for adults only. You must be 18 or the age of legal majority where you live, whichever is higher. We do not knowingly let anyone younger use the product, and an account found to belong to someone under 18 is closed.

Signing in with an email address that has never been seen before makes an account. There is no separate signup step. You are responsible for keeping access to your own account, and for anything done through it.

Generation is billed in credits, not dollars, and the credit cost of every generation is shown on the Generate button before you confirm it. There is no episode price anywhere in the product; you spend credits generation by generation, on whichever model you pick.

Credits included in a paid plan are for that billing period and do not roll over. Credits you buy separately as a top-up last 90 days from the day you buy them. A free account's credits are granted once and are not renewed.

Retakes are priced the same as the original generation, on every plan, including free. The one exception: a generation that fails because of something on our side is refunded automatically, as a visible row in your credit history, within 60 seconds.

Credits are not money. They cannot be transferred, sold, or moved between accounts, and they are not redeemable for cash except where our Refund Policy or the law says so.

What you write and what you upload stays yours. You give us a licence to store it, send it to the AI providers named in our Privacy Policy so they can generate your episode, and show it back to you and to anyone you share it with. We do not train AI models on your content, and we do not let our providers train on it either.

As between you and us, what you generate is yours to use and sell, subject to the Acceptable Use Policy and to your plan. On a free plan, exports carry a visible minicut.ai mark and are for personal, non-commercial use. On a paid plan that mark comes off. We provide a label that signals AI-generated content, and covering it up is not allowed on any plan.

The honest part: we cannot promise you hold a copyright in the raw generated footage on its own. In the United States, copyright needs a human author, and typing a prompt is not on its own enough to make you the legal author of what comes back. The parts you personally wrote, chose and arranged are yours to claim; the raw output by itself may not be anyone's copyright. That is true of every AI video tool, not just this one.

We provide a label that signals AI-generated content, and it is shown with the work when you publish or share it. You may not remove it, crop it out, or hide it. You may not present an episode as real footage of a real event, and you may not claim a character in it is a real person.

Some platforms and some jurisdictions put their own AI-disclosure duty on the person who publishes, not on us. Our label helps you meet that duty; it does not replace a platform's own AI-content setting where one exists.

The Acceptable Use Policy is part of these Terms. It sets out what you cannot generate, including a hard ban on depicting a real, identifiable person, and what happens if you break it.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks the Acceptable Use Policy, and a violation involving a real person's likeness, a minor, or non-consensual intimate imagery is closed immediately with no warning. You can close your own account at any time; closing an account is different from cancelling a plan, and it does not refund credits already granted, except where our Refund Policy applies.

Minicut is provided as is. A generation can come back wrong, ugly, or nonsensical; a model can refuse a request; providers change and remove models over time; and running the same prompt twice will not give you the same result twice. We do not guarantee a specific outcome from any generation.

You are responsible for what you publish, including whether it infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, likeness or privacy rights, and you agree to cover our costs if a claim against us arises from something you generated or published.

We can update these Terms. A change that raises the cost of the models you actually use by more than 20%, or that meaningfully narrows what you can do with your own content, is announced at least 14 days before it takes effect.
