Talk to anyone who has paid for an AI video tool and the same complaint comes up: the credits just went. Not on anything they can name. A bundle was bought, a week of tinkering happened, and the balance is at zero with nothing to point at.
That is not a pricing problem, it is a visibility problem, and it is fixable at the interface: put the price of the thing on the thing.
One unit, one price
The unit here is one generation: one video shot, one image, one voice pass. Every generation has a price, the price depends on the model and the seconds, and it is printed on the Generate button before you confirm. There is no bundle mathematics between you and the number.
Billing is fractional on purpose. A shot that costs 4.73 credits deducts 4.73, not 5. Rounding every generation up sounds small and quietly becomes a second price list nobody agreed to.
What follows from that one decision
If every generation has a visible price, a failure has to refund itself: a run that dies on our side returns its credits automatically within 60 seconds, as its own row in the history. A price you saw going in deserves a refund you can see coming back.
It also changes how you work. When drafting a shot costs 4.73 credits and finishing one costs 17.50, you draft cheap and finish dear, the way a director shoots rehearsals on the cheap camera. The tools that hide the number take that choice away from you.

Do bigger plans get cheaper generations?
A generation costs the same credit count on every plan; bigger plans buy each credit for less. The pricing page shows the per-credit price of every tier.
