Both languages have their own address, and neither one redirects you
This format came from Chinese-speaking creators and most of the craft writing about it is in Chinese. A product for it that treats Chinese as a translation toggle on an English site is telling you where it thinks that audience sits.
So every page here exists twice, at its own address, in English and Simplified Chinese, with each one declaring the other as its twin. The twenty pilot episodes in the product were written in Chinese first, and the English is a translation layer that never edits the Chinese source.
Nothing sends you anywhere based on your browser
If you ask for the English page you get the English page, wherever you are and whatever your browser says it prefers. The same for Chinese. There is a bar offering the other language, and offering is the whole difference.
This is not politeness, it is how a site keeps its second language findable at all. A crawler asking for a page in one language and being redirected to another never sees the first one, and a site that does that quietly loses its entire non-English presence without anybody noticing for months.
The addresses stay in one language, with one exception
The path stays English on both sides. The Chinese page for models is the Chinese prefix in front of the same English word, not a translated path. Translating a path gives one page two addresses, which splits whatever either one earns, and it makes every link in every document go stale the day a wording changes.
The exception is the twenty pilot episodes. Their addresses carry their Chinese titles, because the Chinese title is the actual thing somebody types into a search box in the market these were made for, and it is the naming convention the source files already use.
What is translated and what is not
Everything a person reads is translated: titles, descriptions, headings, body text, the questions and answers, breadcrumb labels and image alt text. Prices are shown in the reader's own currency with a line saying the card is still charged in dollars, because a converted number with no note is a number somebody will hold you to.
What is not translated is the source of the twenty pilots. Their Chinese titles, loglines and all 780 generation prompts stay exactly as written. Any string that does not yet have an English version falls back to the Chinese rather than rendering blank, which is the honest failure mode: you see the original instead of a hole.

Is the Chinese version a machine translation of the English?
It is the other way round in the place that matters most. The twenty pilot episodes, their titles and all their prompts were authored in Chinese, and the English side is built from those. The interface strings are maintained as a pair, and a missing English string shows the Chinese rather than nothing.
Can I write my episode in Chinese?
Yes. The script stage, the dialogue and the generated voices all work in the language you write in, and the twenty pilots in the product are Chinese-language episodes.
Will more languages be added?
These two are what ship today and they are the two the product is actually maintained in. Adding a language that nobody proofreads is worse than not having it, because a page nobody can read is still a page people land on.
